Incident Summary
The Akawana Fire started on Tuesday, June 7th around 1615 hours PDT from lightning that had passed over the area earlier. The fire is located 13 miles NE of Sisters, Oregon.

At this moment, the fire has consumed 2,065 of timber and brush but fire crews have been successful in reaching a 60% containment status around the fire.
Resources
Command is being managed by Cline And Les Hallman, an ODF 3 Team. They assumed command on 6/9/2016 from The OSFM Green Team assumed transfer of command at 2000 hours 06/08/2016.
There are 561 fire personnel committed to this incident along with 17 Hand crews, 7 Helicopters, 35 Engines, 13 Bulldozers and 22 Water Tenders.
4 Task Forces are due to be released this evening and return back in service in their respected jurisdictions.

Evacuation Warnings
Authorities have issued a Level 1 evacuation order (Be Ready to evacuate) for the following areas:
- Three Rivers
- Air Park
- Rim Park
- Outlying areas
There are no areas under a Level 2 evacuation order as previously alerted.
Threats
There are currently 912 homes that are still being threatened.
Cost-To-Date
Firefighting costs have topped out at an all-time high of $1.8Million.
