Cle Elum, Washington
Incident Summary
A wildfire broke out in the area, approximately 5 miles E of Cle Elum on Saturday, July 2nd around 1440 hours PDT, while another fire at the Cle Elum Hatchery ignited sending fire crews to two separate fire scenes.
Command
In Unified Command – KCSO, SCSO, DNR and OES.
Resources
Resources on the fire are WA DNR, USFS and Kittitas County Fire. 2 rotors on-scene with 1 rotor and a USFS 20-person crew en route.
Size
The fire is said to be at 25 acres and actively burning.
Cause
No cause at this time is known.

I am one of the owners of property on Hart Road and commend all the firefighters, from top to bottom, and the helicopter crews who did a magnificent job containing the fire and saving our property. Our family is very grateful. Thank you one and all!!!
