HIGHLINE FIRE – Tonto NF.  8 miles North of Payson.  4,929 acres. 44% containment. 1240 personnel. 30 crews. 69 engines. 11 helicopters. Active fire behavior with uphill runs, flanking and short-range spotting. Structures threatened. $6.1 Million CTD.

FRYE FIRE –  Coronado NF. 9 miles West of Swift Trail Junction.  2,084 acres. 16% contained.  239 personnel.  6 crews. 11 engines. 6 helos. Active Fire behavior with backing, flanking. Structures threatened.  $1.1 Million CTD.

BOUNDARY FIRE – 12 miles North of Bellemont. 6,512 acres. 16% contained. 406 personnel. 7 crews. 15 engines. 3 helicopters. Moderate fire behavior with backing, flanking and torching. Evacuations in effect. Structures threatened. $3.9 Million CTD.

LIZARD FIRE –  Coronado NF.  3 miles SE of Dragoon. 15,230 acres. 80% containment. 241 personnel. 3 crews. 5 engines. 6 helos. Min Fire behavior with smoldering and creeping. $5.9 Million CTD.

FREEZE 2 FIRE – San Carlos Agency. BIA. 2,832 acres. 70% contained.  263 personnel. 4 crews. 5 engines. 4 helos. Min fire behavior with smoldering and creeping. $3.6 Million CTD.

R-14 FIRE – Fort Apache Agency. BIA.  3 miles South of Cedar Creek. Timber. Active fire behavior with torching.  470 acres. 0% contained. 118 personnel.  4 crews. 3 engines. 2 helos. $190,000 CTD.

FLYING R FIRE – Coronado NF. 9 miles SE of Patagonia. 2,270 acres. 75% contained. Min fire behavior.  Structures threatened. 115 personnel.  2 crews. 14 engines. $200,000 CTD.

WINDYHILL FIRE – Tonto NF. 3 miles E of Roosevelt.  Min fire behavior.  Structures threatened.  420 acres. 90% contained.  49 personnel. 2 crews. 2 engines. $100,000 CTD.
