CAMPO, Calif. – A wildfire broke out on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 around 0946 hours PDT prompting CAL Fire dispatchers multiple fire assets to the fire ground which was said to be near Campo Lake in San Diego, California.
RESOURCES
There are approximately 150 fire personnel along with 10 crews, 23 engines and 5 helicopters.
CAUSE
The cause was determined by Fire Investigator from that of that of an improperly extinguished campfire on private property.

CURRENT STATUS
The fire is being held at 265 acres and containment has been increased to 65%. Fire behavior was said to be moderate with uphill runs, short-range spotting and creeping.
