California Wildfire: Splits Off as Second Wildland Fire from #AirlineFire | 1

BITTERWATER, Calif. – A wildfire that originally split off from the Airline Fire was named on June 4, 2018, around 1730 hours PDT burning in the off of Coaling Road, just of Bitterwater in San Benito-Monterey County.

At the time, CAL FIRE – BEU firefighters were fighting the new fire that had grown to a fast-moving 100 acres and quickly growing.
