Washington Wildfire | Decatur Head Fire | 1

SAN JUAN COUNTY, Wash. – A wildfire ignited on Tuesday, July 3rd prompting the NW Region DNR Dispatch Center to dispatch fire resources along with Incident Commander TESKE at 1245 hours.  IC TESKE was on-scene at 1545 hours.


The fire is burning on Decatur Island, located east of Lopez Island and south of Blakely Island.


Fire fuels include brush, grass and duff.

Current Conditions

Fire is said to be at 0.1 acres and listed as an open incident.  Limited information is available on this wildfire.
