SAN JUAN COUNTY, Wash. – A wildfire ignited on Tuesday, July 3rd prompting the NW Region DNR Dispatch Center to dispatch fire resources along with Incident Commander TESKE at 1245 hours. IC TESKE was on-scene at 1545 hours.
Location
The fire is burning on Decatur Island, located east of Lopez Island and south of Blakely Island.
Fuels
Fire fuels include brush, grass and duff.
