INCIDENT SUMMARY

A wildfire ignited and is burning in the City of Bagdad in Yavapai County, Arizona named the SPUR FIRE. AZ State Forestry fire personnel were called out at 1502 hours MST.

The cause human-caused that started on Thursday.

FIRE RESPONSE

The initial fire response included these units BAT 5-1 CH 5 CPT 5-1 LEWIS were dispatched via the Arizona Dispatch Center to the area at 1411 hours MST.

All State and Federal resources have been released.

CURRENT STATUS

The fire has burned 150 acres and there is a 90% containment status.

Command has been turned back over to the Local District.

The fire destroyed an unknown number of structures. Media reports indicate at least 15 were damaged after the intense fire started.

All evacuation orders were lifted on May 28th when the fire was listed at 50% containment and the fire had reached 150 acres in size.
