UPDATE 1 – Tuesday, April 12, 2022

The FORT LYONS FIRE is located about one (1) mile northeast of Las Animas in the Arkansas River bottom in Bent County, Colorado.

Fire assets were dispatched via the Pueblo Interagency Dispatch Center on Tuesday, April 12th around 1456 hours CDT. They are currently on-scene (on the fire line).

There have been 200 acres of land burned with an unknown containment status.

The Incident # is BNX-411 PN PKC9 (1522).
