Update 1 – June 15, 2022, 0010 PT
A wildfire named the Rancho Fire is located on Rancho Tehama Road and Alpine Drive, northwest of Corning, California ignited on June 13, 2022, at 1616 hours PT.
The fire was listed as a 50-60-acre fire on June 13th, when fire resources first arrived on the scene. Structures were reported as being threatened at that time prompting evacuations for Rancho Tehama, Stagecoach, and Oakridge Roads as well as the Apache Trail.
The cause is unknown and under investigation.
The fire has consumed 700 acres and is 40% contained.
There is no Command team assigned but is under the Admin Unit of the CAL FIRE Tehama-Glenn unit.
All evacuations orders and warnings have been lifted.
