The TOUCHET FIRE is located about six miles north of Touchet, Washington, which ignited on June 28, 2022, from an unknown cause.

The fire did threatened structures but there were no immediate evacuations ordered.

The fire has burned about 3,000 acres of grass but has now been fully contained.

Fire behavior has been reduced to minimal activity.

The fire is now in patrol status.

Fire command is under a Type 4 ICT.
