A brush fire burning in the area of 27900 block of 99th Ave NE in the Grand View area in Arlington (Snohomish County), Washington broke out this afternoon, prompting North County Fire Authority resources (Stanwood, Arlington, and Getchell) to respond to the area.

The fire was observed to be threatening the structure at this location.

All occupants safely extricated themselves from the residential building.

Around 1610 hours, the incident was turned over to the Washington State Department of Natural Resources (WA DNR) for further mop-up operations. Most of the resources had been returned back into service.

According to WA DNR’s wildCAD.net site, the fire was reported to be 30×30 in size around 1515 hours PT when they deployed some of their resources to the fire line.
