UPDATE: Thursday, April 27, 2023

A wildfire named the NOB FIRE ignited from an unknown source on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 1016 hours PDT in the area East of Blue Ridge and Paiute, south of Wrightwood, and near the Lytle Creek area in San Bernardino County, California.

The fire is still at 200 acres with a 5% containment status.

There have been relatively no changes since it began yesterday thanks to the multitudes of air and ground resources pouring water over of the fire.

The fire could be seen yesterday From the 15 freeway at the top of Cajon Pass and northwest of Fontana in the San Bernardino National Forest (USFS).

There were no threats to any structures.

The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation. There is approximately 150 total personnel listed for this fire incident. The Incident Commander is BDF – Division Chief 3.
