UPDATE 1: April 28, 2023, 2230 PT
OLD STEWART FIRE
A wildfire ignited from an unknown source in the westbound side of I-10 at mile marker 347, prompting fire personnel and equipment to be dispatched at 1756 hours MDT through the Arizona Dispatch Center.
About 15 acres have been burned. The containment status is unknown.
Per the wildcad system, it is still showing as an active incident with CAPT 3-2 and PHX Crew 1 listed as resources.
WALKER FIRE
The Walker Fire now out, ignited on Friday prompting more fire resources and equipment to be dispatched through the same Communications Center at 1523 hours. State Firefighters were quickly on the scene and were able to contain, control, and put the fire out at 1641 hours. MDT.
HAMILTON FIRE
This fire, the biggest one in size today, burned about 45.5 acres saw firefighters from the same comm center were dispatched today at 1445 hours MDT. This is still an open incident with an unknown containment status. The location of this fire is also not listed in the wildcad system. EA38-361 and PREV 7-1 are still listed as current resources for the evening.
