Incident Summary
A wildfire named the ALDER CREEK FIRE is burning near the milepost OR Route 19 (Service Creek Hwy), along the John Day River in Central Oregon.

Fire Management
Type 3 IMT assumed command at 0800 hours. 1,200 acres.
Fire Conditions
Hot/dry conditions. Winds pushed the fire in the E-SE direction with the fire backing down to the John Day River.
Resources
Current incident cooperators include 4 LATs and 2 SEATs. On order: 1 VLAT, 2 SEATs, and add’l crews.
7/6: Fire started from an unk source. Initial response: AA, 2 copters, 1 hotshot crew, and multiple engines responded.
