SIT REP 4: July 7, 2023, Friday, 2110 PDT
DAY 6. UPDATE 4: The Tunnel 5 Fire ignited from an unknown source on July 2, 2023, burning about 2.25 miles west of White Salmon in Skamania County, Washington State.

All evacuations were the Cook-Underwood Road area have been lifted.
There are currently 40 engines, 11 crews, five copters, six dozers, and 16 water tenders. The SW WA IMT is currently managing this wildfire under the Incident Commander of Bobby Shindelar.
The fire has burned about 556 acres of brush, timber, and hardwood litter has been burned. There is a 35% containment status.
Fire behavior still remains as moderate with backing, flanking, and creeping.
There has been a total of $4.5 Million Dollars for fire suppression and containment efforts.
