The SNAKE FIRE was listed as a wildfire fire which was reported at 1422 hours PT today that broke out near Lindell Road and Snake Road in Lake Elsinore (Riverside County) and near the 15 Freeway in California.
The fire at the time when first due units arrived on the scene, reported the fire to be eight acres in medium brush with a moderate fire behavior with a rapid rate of spread with reported threats to structures and livestock.

One injured firefighter with non-life threatening injury was transported to a nearby hospital by ground ambulance.
The fire has consumed 30 acres and has a 40% containment status.
Resources will remain on the scene throughout the night.
