A brush broke out on a very steep hillside by Highway 18 and located west of Highway in Renton (King County), Washington in the late afternoon on Thursday.

Firefighters and equipment arrived from the Valley Regional Fire Authority (VRFA), Puget Sound Fire, South King Fire & Rescue, and Zone 3 REHAB.

The fire burned about two acres and crews are still mopping up from the fire.

There was one outbuilding (shed) damaged. No structures or other high-valued assets were not threatened.

No reports of injuries to civilians or firefighters were reported.
