Highland Fire
Incident Location
The Highland Fire which is located about 19 miles southeast of Temecula and the fire’s origin on the Highland and Aguanga Ranchos Roads, Aguanga(Riverside), California remains with minimal fire behavior and smoldering.

Increased Containment Status
Firefighters have been taking advantage of more favorable weather conditions, and have been able to gain a containment status of 80% today.
There has been a total of 2,487 acres of brush and grass scorched.
Unified Command
The leadership of this incident still remains under Unified Command: CAL FIRE Riverside, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, and the Riverside County Type 3 All Hazard Incident Management Team.
