SIT REP 1: Tuesday, May 14, 2024, 1834 hours PDT

A wildfire is burning in the 45900 block of Cahuilla Road in Auganga (Riverside County), California.

The brush fire ignited on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 1234 hours PDT.

Earlier in the incident, one home was being threatened.

The cause is unknown and under investigation.

The fire size was being held to 13 acres and was 100% contained at 1635 hours PDT. Fire crews were said to be still on the scene but may have been released since their last operational fire update.

The Janell Fire was listed under Janell IC by the CAL FIRE / Riverside County Fire Department.
