INCIDENT SUMMARY. A wildfire ignited from an unknown cause on Highway 178 and Democrat Road.

This is southwest of Lake Isabella in the Sequoia National Forest in California on May 15, 2024, around 1141 hours PDT.

SIZE UP. The fire has burned about 132 acres and has a 93% containment status.

INCIDENT COOPERATORS. U.S. Forest Service – SNF, Kern County Fire Department, Bakersfield Police, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), CHP, CAL Trans, Fulton Hotshots and CAL Fire.

RESOURCES. There are no Incident Management Teams assigned.
