The Holiday Fire broke out on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 1421 hours PDT from an unknown source burning in the east Rosamond area in Kern County, California.
Fire Officials say this wildfire has burned about 398 acres and has a 0% containment status.
Media outlets have reported at least one structure has been lost.

A previous evacuation order for areas north of W Avenue A, South of W Rosamond Blvd, East of 90th Street W, and West of CA-14 S and 40th Street for the Rosamond area was issued but has since been lifted per Ready Kern County.
Resources include CHP-Mojave, Kern County FD, Kern County Sheriff’s Department, CHP-Antelope Valley, LA County FD, CAL FIRE, and Aero-Flite.
