WASHINGTON STATE– A wildfire was sparked by an unknown source today, prompting resources to be deployed to Bissell Road in Stevens County around 1412 hours PDT.

The fire has burned about 2.5 acres and the containment status is currently unknown at the time of this situation report.

According to sources, WA DNR resources will be returning on Sunday, May 26, 2026, to continue working to gain a 100% containment status.
