FRESNO COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

CALFIRE/Fresno County Firefighters were dispatched to a wildfire on June 7, 2024, and arrived on the scene of a three-acre brush fire in the 15800 block of Garlock Lane in the Prather area with structures being threatened.

The wildfire has burned approximately 54 acres and is now fully contained as of June 9, 2024, at 1752 hours PDT. Fire crews had held the fire last night to 54 acres but were working extremely hard to bring up the containment status to one-hundred percent. They accomplished this objective this evening.

Firefighters have been pretty busy today and yesterday with multiple wildfire incidents. They are still new ones as we type this sentence, happening every few minutes and will continue as fire weather conditions continue to be poor.
