A new wildfire named the Lytle Fire ignited in the 2000 block of Stockton Flats Road in Lytle Creek, California which started on June 9, 2024.
The fire is currently at an estimated size of 5-10 acres and is said to have a potential of 50-100 acres. The containment status is unknown at the time of this post.
Fire History in Lytle Creek
6/17/2020: 2 acres. Moderate rate of spread. 11 acres. Unified Command with CAL FIRE BDU and SB County FD. The cause is under investigation.

8/2/2019: 0.5 acre. Located on Lytle Creek Road and North of Glen Helen Blvd. San Bernardino County FD and CAL FIRE BDU and San Bernardino National Forest.
5/13-5/15/2013: The wildfire broke out on Lytle Creek Road and I-15 at Sierra Avenue near Lytle Creek in San Bernardino County. 75 acres. The freeway was temporarily closed. CAL FIRE, Lead Agency. Resources: SBNF, San Bernardino County FD, Caltrans, and CAL FIRE.
10/3/2009: 1,000 acres in 4 hours. 1 injured firefighter. 60 mph winds.
