A newly reported wildfire broke out about three hours ago on Lonoak Road in King City (Monterey County), California. The cause is unknown.
FIRE BEHAVIOR
Fire behavior is said to be active with a moderate rate of spread and with a potential for 150 acres in its initial stage.
RESOURCES
Aviation aircraft were sighted by numerous sources including AA340, Airtankers 74, 75, 79, and 80 along with Copter 604.
CURRENT STATUS
At 2236 hours PT, OES Intel 24 has mapped out the fire to be 255 acres with the IC releasing Copter 604 from the incident.
A dozer is said to be blazing to the head of the fire.
There is an unknown containment status.
