Incident Summary

The Boulder View Fire is burning five miles east of Carefree, Arizona.

The cause has been deemed as undetermined and is under investigation.

Current Status

Currently, firefighters have reached an 80% containment status and held the fire to 3,711 acres.

Resources

Fire command was assumed by a type 3 Team with Incident Commanders Benjamin Stewart, and James Robbins with Jeff Gallivant (Trainee).

There are a total of 244 personnel, which include one (1) Type 1 crew, three (1) Type 2 crews, one (1) Type 2IA crew, nine (9) Type 3 engines, six (6) Type 6 engines, one (1) Type 3 copter, overhead, and two (20 water tenders.

Fire Restrictions

Stage 1 fire restrictions effective on State Trust lands in Central Arizona to include, Maricopa County. Stage 1 is also in effect on Tonto National Forest. Please do your part to help reduce the risk!

Damage Assessments

No structures have been lost or reported as damaged.

Cost-to-Date

The CTD for fire suppression and containment costs has reached $1.6 Million.
