INCIDENT SUMMARY. The Thompson Fire is said to be by onlookers as a firestorm broke out at 1145 hours late this morning on Cherokee Road and Thompson Flat Cemetery in Oroville (Butte County) California.
CURRENT STATUS. The fire has burned about 1,611 acres and there is a 0% containment status. Mandatory evacuations are in effect with also warnings.
