CHELAN COUNTY, WASHINGTON — There is a wildfire burning near the Beehive Reservoir on Beehive Road near Mission Ridge in Wenatchee, which has prompted Level 3 (GO NOW!) mandatory evacuations.

LEVEL 3 EVACUATIONS are in effect –> Squilchuck, Mission Ridge, and Beehive.

Impacted areas –> Squilchuck Road, south of Wenatchee Heights, Halverson Canyon, Hampton Road, Forest Ridge Road, and side streets, along with all of Mission Ridge Road, Liberty Beehive Road, Mission Ridge Resort, and Squilchuck State Park.

WA DNR resources appear to be en route shortly as the call was just updated in the wildcad.net CAD system at 1207 hours PT. Their incident # is WASES-344.

ABOUT BEEHIVE RESERVOIR

The Beehive Reservoir is a 12-acre reservoir popular fishing destination, located about eight (8) miles southwest of Wenatchee (Chelan), Washington. This area prohibits camping and campfires. There is a very primitive area with no running water and only vault toilets.

It is located up the Mission Ridge Road/Wenatchee Mountain Roads about one mile then right off of the Beehive Road/Forest Service Road 9712.
