The SILVER KING FIRE is burning 10 miles west of Marysvale, Utah, which has burned about 5,430+ acres of timber. The cause of the fire is due to a lightning strike which occurred on July 5, 2024.

It has a 0% containment status and Fire Officials expect the wildfire to be fully contained by July 30, 2024.
Fire behavior has been observed as extreme with group torching, up hills, and crowning.
There are a total of 166 fire personnel along with five (5) crews, six (6) engines and a single copter. Management of the fire is under the Central Utah Fire Interagency.
At the moment, the fire is threatening historic mining structures in the area.
The Cost-to-Date for fire suppression and containment efforts have reached a total of $100,000.
