Battle Mountain Complex Fires

The BATTLE MOUNTAIN COMPLEX is made up of several wildfires which are located about eight miles west of Ukiah in the State of Oregon. The start date was on July 17, 2024, and Fire Officials have slated full containment status to be reached on August 31, 2024.
About 183,026 of timber, grass, and brush have been burned. Minimal fire behavior with smoldering has been observed.
There is a 95% containment status at this time.
Even though full containment has been reached, the fire is still threatening about 357 homes and 530 other minor structures.
Two homes and 10 minor structures have been destroyed, while two homes and two minor buildings have been damaged.
There is a total of 90 fire personnel along with two engines.
The cause is still listed as undetermined, which is under investigation.
The cost-to-date for fire suppression and containment efforts has reached d86 Million Dollars.
