The PARK FIRE is rampanting down according to CAL FIRE Officials who released their last final presser on this incident, while others are still releasing updates.

The fire was originally sparked by an arsonist on July 24, 2024, around 1452 hours PT.

The fire started off Upper Park Road in Bidwell Park about seven (7) miles northeast of Chico, California.

About 429,603 acres have been burned and there is now a 100% containment status.

  • 15 crews

The cost-to-date for fire suppression and containment efforts has reached 11.5 million dollars.
