SIT REP 1: October 7, 2024, Monday

INCIDENT SUMMARY

The POSTA 3 FIRE started on Monday afternoon at 1501 hours PT on Old Hwy 80 and La Posta Road in Campo (San Diego County), California.

CURRENT STATUS

CAL FIRE San Diego and the USFS Cleveland National Forest are in Unified Command.

There are about 100 firefighters along with three (3) copters, seven (7) engines, four (4) bulldozers, four (4) water tenders, two (2) crews and five (5) other assigned resources.

Approximately 282 acres have been burned with an observed rapid rate of spread. There is a 0% containment status.
