Luck Fire

The LUCK FIRE is located on southbound I-5, south of Templin Hwy and north of Castaic in Los Angeles County, California.

Forward progression was stopped this evening at 1808 hours PDT.

The fire was held to a total of five acres according to Federal Fire Offices.

The cause is unknown and under investigation.

Aircraft Assets: AA12, Air Tankers: 133 and 180, Quebecs 1 & 2, Copters 17, 21, 22, and Hellitanker 95B.

Incident Cooperators: Angeles National Forest (USFS), LACoFD PIO, Los Angeles County Fire Department, CHP Newhall, CHP Southern, and the CHP Fort Tejon.
