In a short amount of time, Fire Officials originally gave an update of 3,200 acres with a 5% containment status (please see our original update), but within the last two minutes (1950 hours PDT), the fire has scorched more acreage. The fire has now burned 8,500 acres, but resources are starting to get the fire more contained, as it is listed now at 10%. This is good news!
