Firefighters with WA DNR and with Ferry County were dispatched to a wildfire located on Deadman Creek this afternoon. DNR was dispatched via the Northeast Communications Center this afternoon at 1255 hours.

DNR resources include: NC61, NC7304, NC7303, and NC7301. They were on the scene at 1355 hours PDT.

Less than one acre (0.3) has been burned.

The cause is unknown and under investigation.

There is no containment status known at this time.
