Fire resources and equipment are on the scene of the two wildfires that have broken out from an unknown source, which is currently under investigation.
CANYON FIRE
The Canyon Fire has been stated to be about 0.5 acres in size. The forward progression has been stopped.
STAMPEDE FIRE
The Stampede Fire is about 0.25 of an acre in size, and its forward progression has also been stopped.
Ground resources are working to contain both fire incidents, say the U.S. Forest Service – Tahoe National Forest.
These were burning near Stampede Pass in the State of California.
