WOLF FIRE

A wildfire named the WOLF FIRE continues to burn, after igniting on June 29, 2025, at 1509 hours PT on Old Banning Idyllwild Road and Wolfskill Truck Trail in Riverside County, California.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA — A wildfire designated the WOLF FIRE is burning on Old Banning Idyllwild Road and Wolskill Truck Trail, which started on Sunday afternoon around 1509 hours PDT from an unknown cause.

The fire has burned up to 2,387 acres, and resources have successfully reached a 95% containment status.

There are a total of 482 personnel with 28 engines, seven (7) dozers, 12 water tenders, 12 crews, and 10 other types of resources assigned, including overhead personnel.

Incident Cooperators include USFS-San Bernardino, BLM, Riverside Co Sheriff’s Office, CHP, CA DOC and Rehab, AMR, CA Conservation Corps, CA OFES, American Red Cross, Riverside Co Parks, Riverside Co EMAD, Riverside Co Animal Services, Morongo Band of Indians, So Cal Edison, and So Cal Gas.

There have been three (3) confirmed firefighter injuries since this incident first began. Their conditions are unknown at the time of this update.

CAL FIRE Riverside unit is the lead Fire Agency.

There are approximately 300 total personnel with four (4) helicopters, 70 engines, two (2) dozers, three (3) water tenders, six (6) crews, and eight (8) other assigned resources.
