RESOURCES – ORGANIZATIONS

Horse Community

Our hearts are with our fellow Kentuckians who have been hard hit by the massive storms and tornadoes that ripped through the Commonwealth last night. As work to sift through the damage begins, we are reaching out to extension agents in the areas to see how we can assist. Are you a horse owner in an impacted area? Do you know a horse owner there? Please tell us what you need (now and in the coming weeks) — the ag and equine community are strong, and there’s no one better to have on your side when the going gets tough. Let us know how we can help. You can post here or email info@kentuckyhorse.org

Samaritan’s Purse

It was a night of horror for many as some 24 tornadoes and multiple storms swept through several states leaving a path of catastrophic destruction in many cities and communities. The total number of lives lost is not yet known. Join me in praying now for all those in the path of these storms and the many families left devastated. Samaritan’s Purse is sending teams today to assess needs in the hardest-hit areas.
