Location: Groveland Ranger District, Stanilaus National Forest. Sonora, CA.
Acres Burned: 224,777 = total of 348.1 square miles. (235,841 acres = 368.5 square miles)
Cause: Unknown. Still under investigation.
Cost to Date: $66 Million. (Unknown)
Status: Day 16 of fire. Burning operations and structure protection in place. (Day 17.
Structural Integrity: 4500 structures threatened. Destroyed structures: 11 residences. 3 commercial buildings. 97 outbuildings.
Containment: 45%. (80%)
Resources: 5,115 personnel as of 2130 Hours (previously at 1830 hours there were 4,606 in personnel). 42 States, plus WA DC have sent mutual aid to fire. 5 reported injuries (unknown if FD or homeowners). (4,359 personnel on scene, plus 746 inmates from CA DOC Rehab Center with 17.1 inmate pop working on fire incident. 44 States plus WA DC)
