On October 25, 2013, Seattle Fire honored firefighters and Officers recently retired from their Department at their Annual BLEVE event.

The Retirees are:

Firefighter David Bromley. 20 years, 9 months.

Firefighter John Jones.  21 years, 4 months.

Firefighter Dean Ronhaar.  22 years.

Firefighter Inger Bakken.  26 years, 11 months.

Firefighter Joseph Reynolds.  28 years, 3 months.

Firefighter Mark Beirne.  29 years.

Lieutenant Gilbert Campbell.  29 years, 1 month.

Firefighter Jeffrey Myer.  30 years, 1 month.

Battalion Chief Richard Verlinda.  30 years, 3 months.

Captain Peter Aoki.  30 years, 9 months.

Captain Preston Bhang.  31 years, 1 month.

Firefighter/Paramedic Carl Nahpi.  31 years, 9 months.

Firefighter Robyn Gibson.  32 years, 9 months.

Firefighter Les Davis.  32 years, 10 months.

Firefighter Robert Malsey.  32 years, 11 months.

Deputy Chief James Fosse.  33 years.

Fireboat Pilot Richard Rush.  35 years, 10 months.

Paramedic Daniel Wade.  36 years, 9 months.

Battalion Chief Michael Walsh.  37  years, 8 months.

Firefighter Lenro Morgan.  40 years, 5 months.

Firefighter Richard Smith.  43 years.

Deputy  Chief Michael Jurus.  43 years, 10 months.

Overall, 23 Fire Personnel retired from the City of Seattle this year with a combined service of over 700 years!  Wow, that is amazing and the Citizens were lucky to have all of you.
