Seattle, Washington | Around 0630 this morning, the 9-1-1  EMS was temporarily disrupted throughout the State, causing those who needed to call not to be able to get through.

Side Note:  “As long as we have been in this line of work, we don’t ever remember this type of extent of such an outage.”

Phone numbers were posted for each coverage area by City Agency in case the 9-1-1, but quickly over time the system began to be restored throughout the State.

A cause for the outage is unknown at the time.

CenturyLink is the host for the service and worked diligently to restore back to normal.  KUDOS to the employees of the Company to restore the 9-1-1 service.
