INCIDENT SUMMARY

Date/Time:  5/10/2016  @ 1141 hours, Tuesday.

Location:  East of Douglas, AZ in the Perilla Mountains.  Cochise County, Arizona.

Cause:  Unknown. Under Investigation.

Terrain:   Steep. Rugged.

 

CURRENT STATUS

Acres:  1292.

Containment Status:  40%.

Fire Fuels:  Grass.  Brush.

Fire Behavior:  Moderate backing, flanking, short uphill runs, backing off on the West of the Moutanin.

 

RESOURCES

Fire:  102 personnel assigned.

Cooperators:  AZ State Forestry, BLM, Department of Public Safety, Portal Fire & Rescue, USFS and Sunny Fire Department.

Equipment:  (3) Type 2 AZSF Hand Crews, (2) Federal Suppression mobile Hand Crews.  (1) Air Attack.  (1) DPS Helo.  (1) Engine. Miscellaneous overhead.
