Incident Summary

Another fire consumes acreage on Arizona State land that started this morning around midnight on Longview Loop in Elgin, under the Sonoita-Elgin Fire District.

The fire is burning grass and has consumed 600 acres.  There is no cause at this time or known containment status.

The fire has scorched 600 acres.

Command

The fire is under the Command of the Sonoita-Elgin Fire District.  IC is DeWolf.

Assigned to this fire include:  (2) type-1 crews, multiple engines (structural and wildland), (1) VLAT (very large air tanker), (1) heavy air tanker, misc. overhead personnel.
