104 FIRE – Las Vegas District.  Area:  NM State Forestry. Location:  15 miles N of Las Vegas, NM. Fire Fuels:  Timber and short grass.

Current Status:  No new information.

Size:  900 acres.  Current Containment Status:  75% contained.  Resources: 17 personnel.  3 engines. Cost-to-Date:  $15,000.00.

 BURRO FIRE – Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest.  Location:  12 miles NW of Mule Creek, NM. Fuels:  Brush and tall grass.

Size: 1214 ac.  Current Status:  90% contained.  Personnel: 26 personnel. 1 crew.  1 helo.  Cost-to-Date:  $150,000.

DOG HEAD FIRE – Cibola NF. Location:  6 miles NW of Tajique, NM. Fire Fuels:  Timber and medium logging slash.

Fire Behavior: Minimal fire behavior. Alerts:  Road, area, and trail closures in effect.

Size: 17,912 acres. Containment Status:  90% contained. Resources:  274 personnel.  5 crews.  11 engines.  Damage Assessment:  56 structures lost. Cost-to-Date:  $10 Million.

NORTH FIRE – Cibola National Forest. Location:  28 .miles SW of Magdalena, NM. Fire Fuels:  Timber.

Fire Behavior:  Moderate fire behavior with backing and creeping. Damage Assessment / Threats:  Structures threatened. Alerts:  Road, area, and trail closures in effect. Weather:  Precipitation occurred over the fire area yesterday. Last report unless significant activity occurs.

Size:  39,500 acres. Containment Status: 69% contained. Resources:  87 personnel.  4 engines.  1 helo. Cost-to-Date:  $3.5M.
