Incident Summary
At approximately 1045 hours this morning, a brush fire broke out in Benton County, Washington.
Location
The fire is said to be South of Kennewick in the affected area of US 395 and the Canyon Lake Development.
It is also located behind one of Washington State Patrol’s Offices at 143302 East Law Lane in Kennewick.
Fire Status
As of 1245 hours. Fire crews were in mop-up operations and working on hot spots in the black. Will be on-scene for a few more hours.
Fire Command is calling this incident, “The State Patrol Fire”.
The size of the fire has reached 1,000 acres with a 100% containment status.
