Location: Off Big Geysers Road and Geysers Resort Road, 10 miles E of Cloverdale in Sonoma County, California.
Fuels: Heavy fire fules with areas of grass and pockets of oak woodland. They are dried out due to the last 5 years, due to drought conditions.
Size Up: 500 acres. 0% contained.
Cause: Under investigation.
Current Conditions: Firefighters are working an vegetation fire in the Geysers, East of Cloverdale. The fire is moving at a moderate rate of spread and is in steep, challenging terrain with difficult access
Weather: Temps are in the high 90’s with low RH. . Additional resources have been ordered and are enroute

Evacuations: For the residents of Geysers. Structures are currently threatened
Shelter: Red Cross is opening a shelter for evacuees at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1402 University Street, Healdsburg, CA 95448.
