A new wildfire reported started on Sunday night near the Norse Peak Fire just West of Cliffdel on the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest.  A second wildfire has ignited overnight called the Reach Fire located West of Connell.

Okanogan – Wenatchee NF.  Started 8/10/2017. Lightning caused. Active fire behavior with backing, flanking and group torching. Homes threatened. 129 acres. 8% contained. 16 personnel. 4 engines. $75,000 CTD. #AmericanFire

BRIDGE CREEK FIRE – 12 miles NE of Keller

USDI BIA – Colville Agency. Started 8/9/2017. Type 2 IMT, NW Team 6. Lightning caused. Timber, tall grass and light logging slash.  Active fire behavior with backing, flanking and isolated torching. 2,275 acres. 29% contained. 454 personnel. 9 crews, 22 engines and 3 helos.  $6.4 Million CTD. DIAMOND CREEK FIRE – 27 miles NNW of Winthrop

 Timber, brush. Unknown cause and is under investigation. Active fire behavior with torching, backing and flanking. Structures under threat. 4 homes lost.  30,581 acres. 40% contained. 328 personnel. 9 crews, 10 engines, 2 helos. $6.6 Million CTD. #DiamondCreekFire

JOLLY MOUNTAIN FIRE – 13 miles NW of Cle Elum

Fire is located about 2 miles inside the Tenaway IRA. 8/11/2017 start date. Lightning caused.  Timber. Active fire behavior with backing and torching. 1,385 homes, 13 mixed commercial/residential and 1,403 minor structures are under threat.  Campgrounds, commercial buildings and a high visitation rec area with major trail head and critical habitat are threatened.  638 acres. 0% contained. 301 personnel. 5 crews, 10 engines, 2 helos. $2.7 Million CTD. #JollyMountainFire

Started 8/11/2017.   Lightning caused. USDA Forest Service.  Moderate fire behavior with backing, creeping and single-tree torching. Homes threatened. 4,000 acres. 68% containment.  78 personnel.  1 crew, 5 engnies. $5.5 Million CTD.  #Noisy Creek Fire

CHETCO BAR FIRE – 16 miles West of Selma

Kalmiopsis Wilderness and on the Rogue River – Siskiyou NF. OR.  Lightning caused.  Started 7/12/2017.   Timber, brush. Moderate fire behavior with backing, flanking and creeping. Fire has made significant movement during the last 48 hours. Level 3 evacuation orders in effect for 3,000 homes beginnning at the intersection of Carpenterville Road and Hwy 101, North to the Pistol River and from the Pacific Ocean East. Additionally, residence above Da-Tone Road. 3,368 homes, 50 minor structures threatened with 3 already destroyed.  91,551 acres. 0% contained. 788 personnel. 11 crews, 90 engines and 9 helos. $4 Million CTD.  #ChetcoBarFire

FALCON COMPLEX – 25 miles East of Tiller

Type 2 IMT, NW Team 8.  Started 8/8/2017. Lightning caused. USDA Forest Service. . Consist of multiple fires including the Upper Ash Flat Fire (1,933 acres), Double Buck Fire (497 acres) and the Paradise Fire (372 acres) are the largest of the 15 wildfires.  3,100 acres. 18% contained. 493 personnel. 10 crews, 23 engines and 6 helos.  5 homes and 15 minor structures are being threatened. 489 personnel. 10 crews, 23 engines and 6 helicopters. HIGH CASCADES COMPLEX – 9 miles NE of Prospect

Started 8/12/2017. Type 1 IMT team. Active fire behavior with spotting and torching.  Spruce Creek Fire (5,360 acres), and Blanket Creek Fire (5,889 acres).  Smaller fires include:  Silent Fire (2 acres), Butte Fire (5 acres), Broken Lookout (818 acres), Roundtop Fire (10 acres), Needle Fire (8 acres), Sherwood Fire (71 acres).  12,163 acres. 68% containment.  451 personnel.  9 crews, 9 engines and 5 helos. Started 8/14/2017. Lightning caused. Rogue River – Siskiyou NF. IMT Type 2, CA Team 2. Made up of 20 individual fires.  USDA.  Moderate fire behavior with uphill runs, backing and creeping. MILLI FIRE – 9 West of Sisters

Burning along 16 Road (South of).  Started 8/11/2017. Lightning caused. Located in Three Sisters Wilderness and about 1.5 miles SW of Black Crater Lake. Timber. IMT1 (SW Team / OSF Green Team) IC is also managing the Belknap Fire.  Estimated containment date is 101/2017. Moderate fire behavior with torching, crowning and short-range spotting. Homes threatened. 10,496 acres. 23% contained. 675 personnel. 12 crews, 27 engines and 10 helos. $5.3 Million CTD. #MilliFire

On the NE Boundary of Warm Springs Indian Reservation, OR.  Started 8/8/2017. USDA BIA. Grass, timber, dormant brush.  Human caused, under investigation. 10 structures lost.
