#RattlesnakeFire Burning In Arizona | 1

INCIDENT SUMMARY | A wildfire has prompted resources to be on order and dispatched around 1609 PDT is burning approximately 28 miles east to southeast of Whiteriver, Arizona, which started on Wednesday, April 11, 2018.

COMMAND | Bureau of Indian Affairs, FTA – 138 unit.

Arizona’s Fire Preparation Level has been increased to a 2, while the National Level remains at a 1.

RESOURCES |  1 Type-1 hand crew from the SWCC area, 1 air tactical and 1 Type-3 helicopter responding from the local area (1609 hours PDT).  Additional resources were ordered  which included 1 air tanker, 1 fixed wing (ASM) from SWCC and 1 fixed wing (air tactical) from the  local area (1653 hours PDT).  More resources were added to the list of the IC’s needs which include 1 Type-3 IMT, 1 Type-1 Helicopter and 1 Type-2 Initial Attack.

SIZE UP | There is no known cause.  The fire has reached 165 acres burned.  There is a 0% containment status at this time and it is currently in full fire suppression mode.
