CLALLAM COUNTY, WASHINGTON STATE

Incident Summary

An early wildfire ignited this morning , just before  0700 hours PDT on Lake Crescent, located in the Olympic National Park in Port Angeles named the PUNCH BOWL FIRE.

Cause

There is no known cause of the wildfire.

Current Status

The fire was contained at 1030 hours PDT and brought under control at 1118 hours PDT.  It was completely put out at 1232 hours PDT.

Crews successfully held the fire to less than one acre.
