Incident Summary | The WOODBURY FIRE was actively burning on the Tonto National Forest in a remote area of the Superstition Mountains but has since seen minimal activity, which is great news for this wildfire.
This fire has been burning since June 8, 2019.
Location | About 5 miles northwest of Superior; 8 miles southeast of Roosevelt Marina and about 4 miles south of Roosevelt, Arizona.
Current Status | Officials are still reporting minimal fire behavior with flanking, backing and creeping. The fire has burned 123,404 acres and has a 68% containment status.
Resources | Fire personnel have dramatically dropped down to 538 from the nearly 900-plus only a few days ago.

Damage Assessments | The total cost of fire suppression efforts and containment expenses, have toppled out at $18.9 Million Dollars.
